This fascinator looks simple but was technically quite challenging to create. I made the fabric by interlacing ribbons, carefully measuring to the millimeter and then stitching to secure. Featured on the cover of Hatlines magazine, Winter 2021!

🌱Sinamay was used as the foundation material (underneath the ribbon). Sinamay straw, also known as abaca, is a sustainable textile and listed as a United Nations' Future Fiber.🌱
